THE ROLE
Ancient + Brave is seeking an organised, commercially minded Marketplace Specialist to support the growth of our Amazon channel across key markets including the UK, EU (France, Italy, Germany, Spain), and the US. This is a unique opportunity for someone early in their eCommerce career looking to develop deep expertise in Amazon Seller Central, content optimisation, and advertising performance—while supporting a fast-growing wellness brand.
You’ll work closely with our Head of Online Marketplaces and agency partners to ensure product content, ads, and operations are performing to their full potential. You’ll also manage smaller organic marketplaces (e.g. France, Italy), gaining hands-on experience across the full Amazon ecosystem. This role requires exceptional organisation, structured task management, and a growth mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Marketplace Operations & Content Support
+ Assist in the smooth day-to-day management of Amazon Seller Central accounts across multiple regions.
+ Coordinate with agencies to implement recommended content changes including: copy updates, image/video uploads, A+ content, and seasonal updates.
+ Maintain product content trackers, SKU range plans, and marketplace checklists to ensure timely execution across territories.
+ Responsible for content localisation - effective coordination of translation workflows.
Territory Ownership
+ Own smaller organic EU marketplaces (e.g. France, Italy) with support from the wider team.
+ Develop a working knowledge of regional performance trends, compliance needs, and localisation best practices.
Advertising & Performance Reporting
+ Run regular performance reports (e.g. PPC, organic sales, conversion rates) to extract insights and support agency optimisation efforts.
+ Collaborate with ad agencies to refine keyword strategies, improve return on ad spend, and identify promotional opportunities.
+ Proactively identify sales growth opportunities through data analysis and competitor benchmarking.
Cross-functional Coordination
+ Work collaboratively with marketing, operations, and customer service teams to align on promotional calendars, stock availability, and customer feedback loops.
+ Assist in new market launches, including compliance coordination and research into local regulatory requirements.
WHO YOU ARE
You might not be an Amazon expert (yet), but to be successful in this role, you will need the following skills / knowledge / experience:
+ Experience supporting ecommerce operations (direct or via an agency).
+ Understanding of content optimisation - PPC advertising and SEO.
+ Logical and analytical mindset, able to turn data into insights that drive action – experience using Excel and/or Google Sheets.
+ Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and a structured approach to managing multiple tasks.
+ Commercially curious, always looking for ways to improve sales performance or uncover untapped growth areas.
+ Strong communicator, you must be confident working cross-functionally and managing internal and agency relationships.

Our Interview Process and What You Can Expect:
+ Application Review: We’ll start by reviewing your CV/application to ensure it’s a good fit for the role.
+ Initial Phone Call (circa 15-20 minutes): You’ll have a brief introductory chat with Ellie, our Talent Partner. We’ll discuss your experience, your career aspirations and explore how your values align with ours.
+ Video Interview (circa 30 minutes): The next step is a virtual interview with the hiring manager, via Google Meet. This will be an introductory conversation featuring experience-based and competency-based questions. It’s also a great time to ask any initial questions you have!
+ Interview Task: You’ll receive a task via email which you can prepare at home. This will form part of the discussion for the in-person interview. This will allow us to get a better understanding of your experience, skills and ways of working.
+ In-Person Interview (60-90 minutes): The final stage is an in-person interview at our Uckfield office. You’ll meet with the hiring manager and one other team member and present your interview task and answer competency questions. This is also your opportunity to ask us any remaining questions.
