THE ROLE
We are growing rapidly across the UK, US, and Europe – and are looking for a creative and strategic Head of Brand to help elevate our story, strengthen our identity, and lead standout brand campaigns across regions.
As Head of Brand, you will take the lead on all brand marketing activity in the UK and play a key supporting role in launching and growing Ancient + Brave in the US and European markets.
You’ll be responsible for translating our brand positioning into compelling, strategic marketing plans — bringing new products to life, driving awareness, and strengthening loyalty through content, campaigns, and creative storytelling. You’ll also lead our brand and product marketing calendar and oversee execution across paid media, organic social, content, and email.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Office you will:
+ UK Brand Lead: Own the UK marketing strategy and execution across campaigns, product launches, brand activations, and content – ensuring we build equity, drive awareness, and deepen customer connection.
+ Global Brand Support: Partner closely with the Head of Marketing in the US and European teams to support international brand growth and ensure global brand consistency.
+ Campaign Leadership: Lead the annual, quarterly and monthly marketing calendar – aligning cross-functional teams on timings, deliverables, and execution for all product and brand moments. Incorporate results from recent activity to inform forward planning. Build in time for long term, medium term planning to make space for reactive activity.
+ Oversee brand led paid media planning and execution. Utilising paid media to reach new audiences, build brand awareness, credibility and consideration which will in term improve the effectiveness of our performance media.
+ Content Oversight: Oversee the development of multi-channel content, ensuring brand storytelling is strong, aligned to positioning, and relevant to our target audience. Develop our content creation and sourcing capabilities, looking to utilise new tools (e.g. AI) to continually develop our creative output, enabling us to scale effectively and efficiently without compromising creativity.
+ Community: The Head of Brand is responsible for shaping, growing and nurturing a thriving brand community that bridges emotional engagement and customer loyalty. This role needs to develop a clear strategic vision that considers our social audiences and product subscribers, where followers become fans, and fans/subscribers become advocates
+ Performance Collaboration: Work closely with the digital, influencer and paid social teams to align brand goals with performance marketing strategies
+ Team Leadership: Lead, mentor and inspire a growing team of marketing, social media, and community specialists, along with copywriters, freelancers, and agency partners.
+ Ensure all creative and strategic output is high-quality, culturally relevant, and consistently aligned with the Ancient + Brave brand.
+ Foster a collaborative, feedback-driven environment that champions innovation, excellence, and shared ownership of brand storytelling
+ Brand Guardian: Ensure consistent application of tone of voice, messaging, visual identity and values across all touch-points, internally and externally.
WHO YOU ARE
To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills / knowledge / experience:
+ Proven track record in successfully growing and scaling brands in relevant international markets within wellness, lifestyle, or beauty
+ Proven experience in developing and executing successful brand campaigns and product launches
+ Deep understanding of content creation, social media (paid and organic), email, and digital marketing fundamentals
+ Excellent project management and leadership skills — confident leading calendars, workflows, and teams
+ A creative thinker with a sharp eye for storytelling, aesthetics, and emerging trends

Our Interview Process and What You Can Expect:
+ Application Review: We’ll start by reviewing your CV/application to ensure it’s a good fit for the role.
+ Initial Phone Call (circa 15-20 minutes): You’ll have a brief introductory chat with Ellie, our Talent Partner. We’ll discuss your experience, your career aspirations and explore how your values align with ours.
+ Video Interview (circa 30 minutes): The next step is a virtual interview with the hiring manager, via Google Meet. This will be an introductory conversation featuring experience-based and competency-based questions. It’s also a great time to ask any initial questions you have!
+ Interview Task: You’ll receive a task via email which you can prepare at home. This will form part of the discussion for the in-person interview. This will allow us to get a better understanding of your experience, skills and ways of working.
+ In-Person Interview (60-90 minutes): The final stage is an in-person interview at our Uckfield office. You’ll meet with the hiring manager and one other team member and present your interview task and answer competency questions. This is also your opportunity to ask us any remaining questions.

+ This role requires full time working at our stunning Uckfield offices. Please apply only if you’re within a reasonable commute to East Sussex. There will be an option to work from home one day per week after successful completion of your probationary period.
